The New School offers three distinctly different courses. Each is designed for a specific occupation within the broadcast industry. Our courses provide each student with the background and practial experience required to secure employment in the broadcast industry

The New School maintains offices, studios and classrooms at 50 Colvin Avenue in Albany. We feature two complete radio stations, (closed circuit) each including a master control room, news room, production studio and an adjoining classroom. In addition, our facilities include an on-camera TV studio, master control, and both linear and digital video editing suites.
Edit suites are typically used by one or two students at a time. Classrooms are limited to 16 students. Each radio and TV station is limited to 8. Studios are generally used by one student at a time and are never used by more than three students at any one time.

Hudson Valley Community College offers a degree program in Broadcast Communications that includes one year at The New School. Visit the HVCC website for more information.
