Marissa Lanchak , Radio Instructor:
Growing up in Waterford/Halfmoon, Marissa is an alumni of the New School of Radio & Television. Since a young age, she has had a passion for music and art, which led her in a number of directions but, eventually to radio broadcast. With her passion, drive and talent, she gained her first radio job within her first month at NSRT for WFLY/FLY92.3. There she started out as a board op, but quickly moved into the Full-Time Overnight DJ slot. After almost 2 years with FLY92.3, she was hired to do Middays/Music Director for the legendary Omaha, Nebraska station KQKQ/Q98.5. In May of 2007, she returned to the Capital Region and continues her radio career doing Part-Time for both WFLY/FLY92.3 and WAJZ/JAMZ96.3 as well as voicetracking a Midday show for Top 40 station, WZRT/Z97 in Rutland, Vermont.

Janielle Mahan, Television Production Instructor :
Janielle is originally from Hudson Falls, NY. She earned a BA in Radio/Television/Film from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She also earned an MA in Television/Radio/Film from Syracuse University. While at Syracuse University, she also served as a teaching assistant for various television production classes. She has experience in field and studio news production with RNN-TV in Kingston, NY as well as field and studio production experience with public broadcasting station WMHT in Troy, NY. She was also the director/producer and chief videographer/editor for the independent documentary: “Taking Back the Hudson: The Fight For Our Stolen Future.” Janielle is excited to help students capture the world around them and become great storytellers.

Dan Bazile , Broadcast Journalism Instructor: Political Reporter / Anchor:
Dan Bazile anchors NewsChannel 13 Weekend Today, the weekend morning news show. He also covers the Capitol during the week. His diverse career path led him to his current position.
Dan spent several years as an actor and freelance writer before jumping into television news in 1999. Since then, he's become a familiar face to Capital Region residents. During his five-year reporting career in the area, Dan has covered a wide range of events from snowstorms to politics and from the capitol to the Pepsi Arena.
Dan grew up in New York Citywhere he attended SpringfieldGardensHigh School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Theatre from the State University Of New York at Plattsburgh.
Anya Tucker , Broadcast Journalism Instructor: Anchor / Reporter:
Anya is a proud graduate ofInterlochen Arts Academy and Eastern Michigan University. She began her career in news as a writer at WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit. From there, Anya moved on to Young Broadcasting's WLNS TV 6 in Lansing as a producer of the morning show. She was eventually hired on as a general assignment reporter and then a full time anchor.
When she is not working, Anya enjoys spending time with friends, family and her weird looking dogs. One is a 3 time winner of the Portland Riverfest's Ugly Dog Contest, held annually in Michigan.
Brian Sinkoff, Broadcast Journalism Instructor: Sports Director:
Brian came to the Capital Region after spending 4 years as the Weekend Sports Anchor at WTKR in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to that, Brian worked at WNEP inScranton, Pennsylvania.Before he arrived in the Keystone State, Brian spent two years as the Sports Director at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. During his 2 year tenure in the Mountain State, Brian won two Associated Press Awards for best sportscaster and best sports operation. Brian started his broadcasting career back in 1993 as a sports producer for WJZ, the CBS affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland. He got his first on air job at Cable News 21 in Rockville, Maryland. There, he served as the sports director for 3 years. Brian lives with his wife, Francine, and their two cats in Delmar.
